Bride & Groom

Adventure awaits, and so do we

How We Met

It all began in May 2021 with a swipe that turned into something much more. After seven years of living in the same city and probably passing each other at coffee shops, tacos spots, or H-E-B – Alyssa and Neil finally actually met thanks to the magic of dating apps (and a good algorithm.)

Once Upon Us!

A few months in, Neil brought Alyssa to his best friend’s wedding—where he was the best man—and by the end of the weekend, it felt like their story was just getting started. A few days later, Alyssa overheard Neil casually refer to her as his girlfriend on a work call – no heads-up, no discussion, just dropped it in like it was fact. Bold move – but it worked!

The Road to “I Do”

Every Love Has a Story – This Is Ours

Neil had made the decision to apply to business school all over the country. Alyssa may or may not have secretly hoped Neil would stay in Austin (Hook ‘em!). But life had other plans—Neil got into school in Chicago. After one amazing year together in Austin, he moved north, and they tackled 1.5 years of long-distance with lots of flights, FaceTimes, and countdowns to the next visit.

Life was a whirlwind, but love never wavered. Eventually, Alyssa & Poppy packed up (and left Texas for the first time) and joined Neil in Chicago – cat carrier and all. Fun fact: Neil was not a cat person when they met. In fact, he once joked it might be a dealbreaker. Fast forward, and now Alyssa & Neil adopted a second cat together, Pax. He’s a full blown cat dad now.

They loved their time in Chicago (even the winters), but just as they were settling in, life threw another curveball—a move to New Jersey for work. But before leaving the Windy City, Neil proposed to Alyssa in the place where they built so many memories together. Now, they can’t wait to bring all the people and places they love together to celebrate their next chapter. Let the festivities begin!

When should I arrive in India?

But do not be constrained and feel free to arrive a week or so early and we will be happy to recommend you the places to explore in Rajasthan and other states in India.
How should I get to the venue after I arrive in India?
Udaipur in Rajasthan state is well connected to major metropolitan cities in India. However, it is recommended that you select either New Delhi or Mumbai as port of entry while travelling internationally.   There are frequent nonstop flights from both New Delhi and Mumbai everyday with flight time duration of approximately one hour from both these cities.
    Option A: via New Delhi
You can fly into Indira Gandhi International Airport (Airport Code: DEL) in New Delhi and take a direct flight to Udaipur (Airport Code: UDR). Popular domestic airlines offering direct service from New Delhi to Udaipur include Air India and Indigo.
    Option B: via Mumbai
You can fly into Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (Airport Code: BOM) in Mumbai and take a direct flight to Udaipur (approximately 1 hour). Popular domestic airlines offering direct service from Mumbai to Udaipur include Air India and Indigo.
Note: Direct flights to and from Udaipur are available from all other major metropolitan international airports in India.

Online Retailers: There are plenty of websites available. You may explore outfits at the following online stores as well:
We recommend ordering your outfits at least 12 weeks before the wedding.

About 15,000 INR (Indian Rupee) = $170 USD
